Ok, so I got to say first off that I enjoyed the movie, but I got to be honest and say that there were many things that didn't make sense, as well as some plot holes. But one particular scene had me almost laughing out loud, and it's not because of the script (or maybe it was).
That scene was Marion Cotillard's Death Scene, who in the film acted as ra's al ghul's daughter. She was actually good throughout the film only to be undone by her final scene. I can't believe an actress who has won an Oscar could be so bad at playing dead (although seeing Halle Berry in Catwoman maybe I shouldn't have been surprised). To just blame her would be unfair though, maybe that was the direction Christopher Nolan gave her, even if it wasn't how could he have let it made the cut.
It was the sort of dying action you would expect to see in a school play, and at kindergarten level at that.
"I.......was.........shown.......how........to........flood....the.reactor........ha...hahahah"
"you......will...never......stop.....my.............plan....my....father's....vision..will.....be...fulfill"
Then just slump forward suddenly and stop moving to end the sentence.
What is more amazing and made the scene even more comical is during her speech the camera would several times cut to Batman, Catwoman and commissioner Gordon just standing there listening to her speak.
Errrr.......HELLO...There is a NUCLEAR bomb right next to you that is about to explode in under five minutes, don't you guys think that is a bit more important than listening to this woman right now??? If she had just talked for a few minute longer they probably would have just stood there until the bomb explode.
