Is Tom Cruise Too Short To Play Jack Reacher

I have nothing against Tom Cruise, in fact, despite many people hating on him I kinda like him.

But I am sure for most, if not everyone who have read the book version of the film Jack Reacher, Tom Cruise will not be remotely close to the Jack Reacher they had in mind. 

For one the character is suppose to be 6'5" but Tom is only 5'7". Also the personality of the character doesn't seem to match the characters usually played by Tom, or his natural personality either.

So what do you guys think?
