I used to see Gretchen Christopher of the Fleetwoods (she's the pretty girl on the right on the picture above) around Olympia all the time. I didn't really know who she was when I was seeing her the most, just as well, I'm terrible around famous people, even the slightly famous, and I would have been tongue-tied around her. I worked with a guy It was another quarter century after the Fleetwoods before anybody as big came out of Olympia!
